Dr. Keneca Boyce is a licensed trauma-informed, social work practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience and expertise, working with youth, adults, couples, families and communities at some of their most delicate and resilient times in life. Dr. Boyce’s therapeutic modality is informed by a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, wellness self-management and recovery, and a host of customized, eclectic strategies with a strength-based approach as a common thread. Dr. Boyce partners with each client to utilize and incorporate a variety of therapeutic strategies to promote healing, self-discovery, personal and professional development.
Dr. Boyce holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Social Work.

Clients are everyday people: couples, entrepreneurs, educators, therapists, entertainers, athletes, nonprofit and corporate professionals, political representatives, police, lawyers, retirees, school-aged youth, college bound/enrolled young adults, etc. Dr. Boyce has a growing clientele of boys and men of color and works diligently to bridge the gap between their humanity and wellness.
Insurance is not accepted. Payment can be submitted electronically (credit/debit card). Payment is due on or before the date of service.
Sessions are 60 minutes and will start on time. All sessions are by appointment.

Contact the office via text or voicemail 48 hours before the date of service. A full session fee is retained for missed appointments or late cancellations with less than 48 hours advance notice. Sessions may be rescheduled based on availability.
Therapy is customized. From the very beginning, Dr. Boyce will work with you to understand your unique needs to determine the therapeutic plan.
We work in partnership. As you develop more tools and strategies, we will determine your frequency of sessions and make steps toward maintenance or healthy closure.
There is no obligation to continue therapy. You can stop at any time.
